Tarsacci MDT 8000UXO

The Tarsacci MDT 8000UXO is a professional handheld metal detector designed for use in support of UXO/MEC investigation, munitions response, range clearance, EOD search operations, and anomaly reacquisition. Powered by Tarsacci’s patented Mixed Domain Technology, it is designed to maintain stable operation across challenging ground conditions, including highly mineralized, alkaline, black-sand, and salt-affected soils.

Features

Salinity Balance

Adjustable Salinity Balance provides an additional method for managing ground responses in conductive and difficult environments, including salt-affected soils and certain mineralized ground.

Fast Ground Balance

Ground Balance in less than 3 seconds; just press, hold, lift, and release and you're on your way with a ground balanced MDT 8000UXO.

Lightweight & Durable

MDT 8000UXO’s premium build quality uses a strong carbon fiber body for a uniquely lightweight and durable design minimizing arm fatigue and maximizing product life.

Waterproof

Rated IP67: protection against temporary immersion in still water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes when properly assembled and maintained.

EMI Management

Selectable operating frequencies help operators manage electromagnetic interference from nearby detectors, power lines, and other sources, and are designed to allow up to eight detectors to operate in close proximity.

Unique Target Audio

Distinct audio responses in All-Metal, Discrimination, and Mixed modes help operators distinguish between target signals

Black Sand Mode

Provides an additional operating option for certain highly mineralized ground conditions.

Selectable Frequencies

Eight user-selectable frequencies (9.0 kHz to 9.7 kHz) provide operating flexibility for single and multi-detector use.

User Interface

Everything you need right in front of you! The MDT 8000UXO’s easy to use user interface does not hide any settings; anything can be changed with a touch of a few buttons for a seamless configuration experience on the go

Important Professional-Use and Detection Notice

The MDT 8000UXO is a metal-detection instrument intended for use by appropriately trained and qualified personnel in support of UXO/MEC detection and investigation activities.

The detector responds to metallic objects. It does not identify, classify, render safe, or determine the hazard status of any object, and Target ID information must not be interpreted as confirmation that an object is or is not UXO/MEC.

Detection performance varies with target size, composition, orientation, and depth; soil and environmental conditions; electromagnetic interference; detector settings; search technique; and operator experience.

No metal detector can guarantee detection of every metallic object or UXO/MEC item, and use of the MDT 8000UXO cannot establish that an area is free of UXO/MEC or other hazards.

Users are responsible for following applicable laws, regulations, contractual requirements, site safety procedures, quality-control procedures, and appropriate UXO/EOD practices. This detector is not a substitute for professional UXO/EOD training, judgment, or other required verification methods.
